Determine who your ideal guest is
Determining your ideal client will help you choose your best amenities
Create an avatar for your guest and come up with all possibilities that this guest may want/need in your space
Design is in the details! Cute, affordable throw pillows, or a rug will automatically elevate the space.
Get the most important things when starting off
A good bed - queen size, medium firm, white linens and a duvet
Area rugs - I personally love a good area rug
Entry ways and welcome mats - guests make their first impressions within 7 seconds. Making your entry way personal and cute, yet affordable (like adding a custom etsy welcome mat) will make all the difference
Wi-Fi information - frame it, hang it on the wall, or have it by a welcome basket
Kitchen - know your ideal guest. For example, I had more of an Asian demographic and requests for a rice cooker. So, we made sure all our properties had rice cookers moving forward. I always suggest a fully equipped kitchen with a full spice rack or caddy. A good rule of thumb is to have enough cooking utensils needed to create a good pasta dish or a BBQ dinner
Exterior - If your property is a stand alone property, clean up the outside as curb appeal can go a long way. (clean up landscaping, put up garden lights, etc)
